Hey! I would like to defend my viewing habits on the following grounds:

  1. This represents our cumulative viewing over about 8 or 9 years (I didn’t watch all of this in the past year!)
  2. I like to work with the TV on, so I don’t feel like it crowds stuff out — and I can’t imagine how I would ever bear to do all the tedious work of expense filing, blog post formatting etc if I didn’t have the TV on.
  3. Watching TV is like being Picard in The Inner Light episode (the one where he gets his flute.) If you don’t get that reference, you don’t watch enough TV. ;)
